Ready to make your art dance? In this class, we turn ordinary materials into extraordinary moving masterpieces! We’ll dive into the wacky world of physics and engineering, building sculptures that wiggle, wobble, and whirl. Students will explore the history of Alexander Calder—the inventor of the mobile—and experiment with balance and motion. Create unique moving sculptures to take home and participate in a giant collaborative art installation on campus. Get ready to experiment, engineer, and have a blast! Grades 1-5
